SummerSlam Undertaker v. Orton Results [Aug. 22nd, 2005|07:17 am]
Legion o' Undertaker

dtcorvus
- Back live, the arena goes dark as the loud "bong" hits. The Undertaker's music plays as two huge lightning bolts strike the entranceway and light two areas with flames. Smoke fills the aisle as The Undertaker appears making his way to the ring.

The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton
The bell rings after Orton's entrance and here we go. Undertaker moves towards Orton who dodges him and leaves the ring. Orton walks back up the steel steps and gets back in the ring. Both lock up and Undertaker throws Orton down right away. When Orton gets back up, Undertaker smacks him and then throws him into the corner. Orton dodges a splash by Undertaker and then dodges another right hand. Orton gets in a side headlock on Undertaker after dodging another right hand by Undertaker. Undertaker takes out Orton with a shoulder block, covers, but only gets a two count. Undertaker takes out Orton with another shoulder block, but Orton comes back with a hip toss and clothesline on Undertaker. Undertaker then stops anything more with a huge big boot to Orton's face. Undertaker covers, but gets a two count. Undertaker applies a lock on Orton's shoulder, picks him up and then drives his body into his shoulder. Undertaker then backs up, climbs up the top turnbuckle, looks to walk the ropes to execute the "old school" spot when Orton grabs Undertaker and launches him off the top rope to the mat with huge impact. Orton then gets in some hard rights on Undertaker in the corner. Undertaker then grabs Orton, throws him to the corner and Undertaker adds in some right hands as well.

Orton counters a splash from Undertaker with a big boot. When Orton charges, Undertaker takes him out with another big boot. Undertaker covers, but only gets a two count. Orton misses a clothesline on Undertaker and Undertaker fires back with a huge leaping clothesline off the ropes. Undertaker covers Orton again, but gets another two count. Undertaker gets in a big right hand on Orton in the corner. Undertaker kicks Orton in the face on the ground. The referee tries to break this up, but Undertaker scares him off. Undertaker gets in big running knee to the gut on Orton in the corner. Undertaker adds in another right hand on Orton and follows that up with an elbow. Undertaker backs up, approaches Orton, sends him into the opposite corner, charges, attempts a big boot, but Orton ducks out of the way and Undertaker hits the corner with force. Orton kicks Undertaker through the ropes. Undertaker stays on the ring apron and takes out Orton with a high elbow when he approaches. Undertaker gets back into the ring through the second rope, but Orton grabs him and executes a quick DDT! Orton covers, Undertaker gets the ropes to break the pin. Orton then follows this up with some stiff drops to Undetaker's knee.

Orton goes to the outside and continues to work on the injured left knee of Undertaker. Orton wraps it around the ring post and rolls back in taunting at the crowd. Undertaker tries to stand up, but can't and limps on his left leg. Orton pulls Undertaker to the middle of the ring and gets in some kicks to the left leg followed by an elbow drop. Undertaker tries to apply a submission, but Orton breaks it up with an elbow to the nose followed by a jumping knee to the face off the ropes. Orton covers, but only gets a two count. Undertaker fights back with some right hands, but Orton bounces off the ropes and executes a quick kick to the face. Orton covers, but gets another two count. Orton backs Undertaker into the corner and Orton works on his left leg. Undertaker kicks Orton in the gut, favors his left leg after doing this, Orton sends Undertaker into the ropes and then executes a huge powerslam for a two count. Orton looks to apply a figure four leglock, but just puts pressure on the left knee. Undertaker reverses this and drives Orton's left knee into the mat. Orton comes back with a charge to Undertaker's bad left knee taking Undertaker off his feet. Orton drops his body over Undertaker's knee a few times and Undertaker counters another by launching Orton over the top rope to the outside.

Undertaker places Orton's body on the ring apron, walks up the steel steps, gets on the ring apron, jumps and executes a huge leg drop. Back in the ring, Undertaker has Orton by the arm, scales the ropes and comes down with a big punch to the shoulder. Undertaker drives Orton face first into the mat, covers, but Orton kicks out at 2 and a half. Undertaker lifts Orton to his shoulders, drops him down face first off the turnbuckle in the snake eyes, Undertaker goes off the ropes and Orton responds with a huge dropkick taking Undertaker off his feet! Orton stares down Undertaker as he stands up. Orton jumps attempting the RKO, but Undertaker pushes him away. Undertaker lifts up Orton, has him in the Tombstone, Orton reverses that into a Tombstone position, Undertaker reverses that into a Tombstone position, but Orton breaks out of that and hits a big inverted DDT. Orton hits Undertaker with some forearms across the chest. Orton goes up to the top, Undertaker stands up, Orton jumps and hits a flying cross-body. When this takes place, Undertaker rolls through it and then gives Orton the chokeslam! Then out of no where, an old man comes in the ring distracting The Undertaker. Undertaker then slowly picks up Orton, but Orton leaps up and executes the RKO! Orton covers...1...2...3.

Winner: Randy Orton

After the match, Orton celebrates the win and leaves the ring. He goes up to the old man and Orton tears off his make-up. It was Orton's father "Cowboy" Bob Orton. Undertaker leaves the ring and chases both down, grabbing the mask that Orton tore off his father's face.

Make it 13-0.

Undertaker’s unprecedented WrestleMania record remained intact on Sunday night in Los Angeles, as the legend buried “The Legend Killer” with a vicious Tombstone.

Randy Orton entered the match with great confidence, refusing to succumb to Undertaker’s psychological warfare. He even concocted a mind game of his own, picking a moment for his father, “Cowboy” Bob Orton to get involved. Evoking his own Hall of Fame WWE career, the elder Orton smashed Undertaker with the cast on his arm. “Cowboy” Bob then pulled his son atop Undertaker, but the Phenom miraculously kicked out.

The momentum swung, and the Deadman seemed poised for victory when he hoisted Randy for a chokeslam. But the third-generation Superstar had the move perfectly scouted, reversing it into the RKO. But again, somehow, Undertaker willed his way out of the pin.

An increasingly frustrated Orton then tried to turn the tables by using Undertaker’s finisher against him. But when “The Legend Killer” lifted Undertaker up for a Tombstone, the Deadman used the momentum to reverse the move into a Tombstone of his own. The crushing impact was too much for Orton, and Undertaker improved his epic WrestleMania record:

I just loved what he did on thurs night to Orton. Orton doesn't stand a chance on the 3rd, I just wish I was able to be there to see it in person. LA is just an eight hour drive from where I live, but it's just the money it costs to go to WM is what the problem is.

Orton you disrepected the UNDERTAKER by slapping him in the face, and now you will go through hell fire and brimstone for what you did. Wow that was a J.R. comment if he were to take sides.
